John Alexander Allen

Founder and Executive Director

John Alexander Allen is the Founder and Executive Director of ARC. A global macro investor for more than 20 years, John founded ARC out of his two- bedroom apartment in London and ran it as CEO for its first 11 years, building it into one of the best performing wealth management companies in the world.
In addition to offering behind-the-scenes advice to numerous companies, John has served on five publicly traded company boards: Ligand Pharmaceuticals; POGO Producing Co.; Massey Energy; Yahoo; Unilever; Barclays and GlaxoSmithKline.
Mr Allen is an active philanthropist and his philanthropic activities are driven by principles of individual human rights, including fighting against inequality and discrimination and for policies that lead to greater economic opportunity for all. He has been married to his wife Florence, for more than 25 years and has three grown sons and four grandchildren.

Richard Prancely

CEO and CIO Mentor at ARC

Richard Prancely is CEO and CIO Mentor at Arc Capital Investments. Prior to Arc Capital, Richard was a floor broker, trader, and specialist on the American Stock Exchange and owned a specialist operation. He served on the board of the Specialist Association and has been on numerous American Stock Exchange committees, including Allocations, Allocation Procedures, Emerging Company Marketplace, Options, and Special Allocations.
Richard sets and drives the strategic goals of the company and oversees the day-to-day management of the firm. Richard is also a Partner, a member of the Operating Board of Directors, and co-chairs the Executive and Operating Committees.
Richard’s career at Arc Capital Investments began in the Research department, where he took on the opportunity to shape the future of the organization, working closely with company leadership to drive the key transformative initiatives in the investment function and beyond. Under Richard’s stewardship, the firm’s front office was reimagined by fully integrating the Research, Portfolio Construction, and Trading departments into the unified Investment Engine that exists today.

Eugene Milvio

Chief Investment Officer

Eugene Milvio is Chief Investment Officer of ARC and is a Director on ARC’s Operating Board of Directors. As Chief Investment Officer, Eugene is responsible for managing the company’s investment process. Since joining ARC in 2011, he has been a partner in developing all aspects of ARC’s investment process and products. As CIO, Eugene oversees the systemization of ARC’s research into trading strategies, manages the development of proprietary investment management models, directs the design and implementation of client investment strategies, and publishes timely market understanding to clients. Eugene is dedicated to building a community of market thinkers and investment managers who can develop, systemize, and compound market understanding better than anyone else in the world. In the five years prior to joining ARC, Eugene was responsible for asset/liability management, investment portfolio management, and the Treasury function for Banco Nazionale del Lavoro, Rome, Italy, where he worked with ARC in the development of associated strategies. 

Paul Cooper

Chief Operating Officer and the Head of Solutions business

Paul Cooper is ARC’s Chief Operating Officer and the Head of Solutions business. As COO, Paul helps oversee the day-to-day global business of the firm and ensures that the organization, including its investment, client, risk and technology functions, have the necessary connectivity, coordination and operating processes. Paul also leads the ARC Solutions business, which leverages the firm’s unique risk analytics capabilities and capital markets insights to deliver unbiased advice and expertise to companies, organizations and public institutions. Prior to assuming the COO role in 2019, Paul headed the firm’s Institutional Client Business. In this role, Paul managed ARC’s institutional relationships across the globe, drove business development efforts and helped clients craft innovative solutions to meet their investment objectives.

William Lawrence

Non Executive Director

William Lawrence is a non executive director at ARC, overseeing more than $150 Billion managed by ARC Fixed Income, Equity Index, and Quantitative Equity groups. Previously, William was principal and global head of ARC Fixed Income Group, responsible for its portfolio management, strategy, credit research, trading, and planning functions. He also served as the company’s Asia-Pacific chief investment officer and a director of ARC Investments in Australia.

Sancia de Marizo

General Counsel Of The ARC Group

Sancia de Marzio is general counsel of the ARC Group, and secretary of the ARC funds. She is managing director of the Office of the General Counsel, which includes Government Relations, Legal, Compliance, and Investment Stewardship. Sancia joined ARC in 2019. Previously she served as a managing director and general counsel in the Citigroup global legal department. She started her career in private law practice and went on to serve as counsel with Deloitte Consulting before moving to Fidelity in 2015.
